For many, black-and-white photography is reminiscent of times past – it connotes the nostalgia of a certain heyday, say, like Playboy in the 1950’s. With that in mind, photographer Sergey Korolkov invited model Kristina Yarkaya to join him in a series of romantic black-and-whites, a romantic pictorial complete with lace, an unmade bed and a single, long-stemmed rose. As for Miss Yarkaya, she’s a woman of some renown – back in Russia and the Ukraine, she’s known as Miss April 2013 and Miss February 2014. A truly happy ending for any girl, but we’ve got a feeling that the seductive Kristina Yarkaya is only getting started.
